From Leafhoppers to Otters: Illustrated Talk by Tony Marsh

Tony Marsh is a keen observer and photographer of the natural world, especially in the local area. A childhood interest in birdwatching stimulated by the wonderful Observer Book of Birds has expanded to include all the elements of wildlife, birds, animals, insects and the odd fungus! Plus he has had a four decade interest in photography, taking stunning photographs of them all. Entry £2 on the door. Bar and Box Office from 7pm.

His presentation involves a photographic documentation of a large variety of wildlife that he has discovered within a short walking distance of his home near Portinscale. It includes both very small and very large species, with lots in between, and he hopes it will open people’s eyes to the nature that surrounds us.

Tony is an active member of both Keswick Natural History and Photographic Societies and has lived in the area for over eleven years. Threlkeld Village Hall, Monday 4^th November 7:30pm. Entry £2 on the door. Bar and Box Office from 7pm.
