Merry Neet Fundraiser for Skiddaw Forest

A ‘Merry Neet’ Fundraiser for the Skiddaw Forest Project, featuring Bitterbeck and the community choirs Sing Owt! and Wild Chorus. Floor spots available if you want to join in - bring a song/poem/story to share which celebrates the natural world. All the profits to the Cumbria Wildlife Trust in aid of the Skiddaw Forest Project, which is a once in a lifetime opportunity to create a huge new reserve, Skiddaw Forest, which will be the highest in England. £1.25million is needed to purchase the land and so far 80% of this has been raised but there is a limited time to raise the funds. With your support, this world-renowned 3,000-acre wilderness can be protected for nature forever.  The plan is create a new area of temperate rain forest and a restored habitat of peatland.
