Disappearing Swifts – Illustrated Talk by Tanya & Edmund Hoare

Hear about the incredible lifestyle and life on the wing of these iconic and much-loved masters of the summer skies, with video clips from nest sites. The talk includes swifts’ remarkable migration, the threats they face, why they are in serious decline and what we can do about it. Entry £2 on the door. Bar and Box Office from 7pm.
Tanya & Edmund Hoare are swift enthusiasts and part of the national and international swift network. They have a colony of swifts nesting in the eaves of their cottage with cameras in the nest sites.
