Keswick School has an established reputation for extra-curriculum music and boast a number of groups and ensembles that perform on a public stage. There are several string ensembles, a stage band and choirs as well as many rock and pop bands.
On 9th May Threlkeld Village Hall is pleased to host a public concert by musicians from the school, titled “A concert by the young musicians of Keswick School”. The concert will include pieces from a wide variety of genres from classical to rock by various ensembles. Some solos and duets will also be included. The concert provides an opportunity for these budding musicians to perform on a public stage and should prove to be an entertaining evening.
Tickets are available from Threlkeld Village Hall Coffee Shop or on-line at www.threlkeldvillagehall.org/whats-on by debit or credit card or by Paypal. Tickets are £5 (£3 for under 18s) from village PO, coffee shop and on-line here. Half the profit from the evening will go to the school.
