General Hire by the Hour
You can hire by the hour for:
- small and large meetings or conferences for business or leisure use
- classes or training;
- keep-fit, sport or dance;
- parties or funeral teas.
- music, concerts or theatre
The main hall is a warm and bright space equipped with a PA/AV system with video projector, DVD player plus computer and phone connectivity for presentations, videos or for playing music and microphone. Staging up to 6m wide and 3m deep can be provided with basic stage lighting.
The hall measures around 15m x 7m and can accommodate up to 120 people ‘theatre style’ or 60-80 seated at tables. 6 free standing screens are available which can be used as a room divider. 10 large tables and 16 small tables are available.
Adjacent to the hall, and connected by a serving hatch, is a well-equipped kitchen, suitable for making your own refreshments or for caterers to prepare, cook and serve food.
The adjacent room operates as a Coffee Shop from 10 to 5pm daily (10am – 4pm in Winter) serving light meals and cakes as well as a range of drinks, ideal for meeting breaks and lunch. After 5:30pm it can be used as a meeting room for small groups, or as an annex to the Main Hall for a break-out room, bar etc. There is an interconnecting door to the Main Hall.
